1Q: How does MBG get data from telecom carriers?
 
1A: MBG receives data from carriers in both electronic and paper formats. The primary methods by which MBG collects data are: billing tapes, CD’s, FTP or EDI.
2Q: What telecom carrier billing formats does MBG support?

2A: MBG accepts data from any carrier which follows standard protocol for data delivery including EDI, Text, EBCDIC, Microsoft Excel or Access. We currently process data from the following carriers:
  • AT&T
  • BellSouth
  • British Telecom
  • Global Crossing
  • Qwest
  • SBC/Ameritech
  • Sprint
  • MCI
  • Verizon

For new carriers not on this list, MBG can have a production system available in 30-90 days.

3A: MBG maintains separate servers for each client and we ensure that all corporate security requirements are met. Clients can access the servers through private leased lines or via an IPSec VPN. MBG also utilizes state-of-the-art business continuance systems that allow our clients uninterrupted service in the event of an emergency.

6A: MBG processes VoIP call detail infromation from almost all vendors including Nortel, Lucent, Intercom and Siemens.

7A: MBG receives data from carriers in both electronic and paper formats. The primary methods by which MBG collects data are: billing tapes, CD’s, FTP or EDI.

8A: All MBG applications are customized to your company's unique hierarchy. We can also maintain multiple hierarchies.
