eBonding enables organizations to communicate directly with a carrier's ordering system through the MBG Provisioning solution to place orders. An XML gateway is established between the MBG Provisioning solution and the carrier. Once the order is placed, the status of the order is updated automatically. When the order is completed, the MBG Provisioning solution updates the inventory.
Currently MBG provides eBonding capabilities for AT&T and Verizon Business. MBG is considered to be a leader through its commitment to incorporate eBonding functionality into its provisioning solution, and will look to add additional carriers as they provide XML gateways that enable eBonding.
